Place the bell pepper halves, skin side up, on a foil wrapped baking sheet
and broil for 15 minutes or until peppers are blackened. Put the peppers in

Remove squash from smoker. Arrange with remaining squash halves, cut side down, in pan.

Acorn squash rings with cranberries and apples Cut unpeeled squash into 1/4 rings with sharp knife. Remove and
discard seeds. Place in shallow dish & set aside. In 4 cup measure
cook butter at High 30-45 seconds or till melted. Stir in cranberries
and brown sugar. Cook, uncovered plastic w No-bake cherry crispes Beat butter, powdered sugar and peanut butter in large bowl; stir in cereal, cherries, chocolate chips and pecans; mix well. Shape teaspoonfuls of dough into 1" balls, roll in coconut and place on cookie sheets, chill in refrigerator for 1 hour. Let stand for several hours. Fry without adding fat for about 30 minutes.

Serves: 10 Chorizo homemade sausage Yield: 6 Servings
With electric food grinder, coarsely grind pork. Add all of the above
ingredients and with hands, mix together until well blended in. With meat
press, press into thin patties. Freeze in handi-wrap and scott wax paper
until ready Mashed butternut squash with ginger 1. Fit a large soup kettle with a steamer basket; fill kettle with
enough water to come to the bottom of the basket. Bring water to
boil; add squash. Cover, and cook over medium-high heat until squash
is very tender when pierced with a thin-bla Squash casserole i Cover squash with water, cook until tender. Drain and set aside.
Saute celery, shallots, mushrooms and pimento. Add to squash. Add
remaining ingredients, except cracker crumbs and place mixture in
buttered casserole. Bake at 400 F. for 15 m Winter squash risotto Cut the squash into 1 cm cubes, discarding skin and seeds.
In a heavy-bottomed frying pan, large enough to take all the ingredients
with room to spare, fry the onions in a little of the stock, until tender,
without browning. Bring the rest of t Double squash combo Cut both kinds of squash into 1/2-inch pieces. Put in bottom of
slow-cooking pot. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic salt. Dot with
butter; sprinkle with crumbs and cheese. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7

All-in-one sausage and zucchini casserole Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Heat the oil in a large 5-quart Dutch oven.
Add the ground chuck and sausage. Brown. Drain and set aside. In the Dutch
oven in the oil, saute the zucchini, garlic, and onion until soft and
translucent. Add the rice and Spanish squash casserole Mix all ingredients in an oiled 9 x 13 baking dish. Cover tightly with
aluminum foil or tight fitting baking dish lid. Bake for 30 minutes at
350 F. or until squash is tender.

C Maple glazed squash Cut squash into 1-in. rings and remove seeds. Place squash in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. In a bowl, combine remaining ingredients; pour over squash. blender container combine the 1 1/3 cups water, vinegar, paprika,

Apple and butternut squash soup In a large heavy pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and saute
until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add curry powder and chili powder. Mix
well. Cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. Stir in 2 1/2 cups chicken
broth, squash, apples, and Sausage and cheese logs Cook sausage links until done. Allow to drain on a paper towel. Cut
crusts from bread. Place bread on wax paper and roll flat with rolling
pin. Combine butter and cheese, heat in double boiler until all is
melted. (Don't allow water to touch Acorn squash and sweet potato Saute onion in broth or water in lg. saucepan over med. heat until onion is
translucent, about 6 min. Add potatoes, squash and broth. Simmer,
covered, until veggies are tender, about 25 min. Cool slightly.
