1/6 Ounce(s) baking soda
1/6 Ounce(s) baking powder
1/6 Ounce(s) sugar, white
1/12 Ounce(s) salt
1 egg
417/10000 Gallon(s) ice water
Directions: Sift together the dry ingredients. Beat egg slightly and mix with the water and a few drops of the food coloring, if desired. Add the dry ingredients. Stir only until mixed; mixture will be slightly lumpy. Dip chicken, shrimp, vegetables, etc. into batter and deep fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
