Zucchini Pickles



Ingredients:
1/6 Ounce(s) turmeric
1 celery seed
1 27/625 Pound(s) sugar
2 white vinegar
2 Ounce(s) salt
2 onion
2 zucchini
2 mustard seed
Directions: Cut zucchini into chunks. Slice onions. Soak zucchini and onions with salt in glass bowl covered with water for 2 hours. Drain well. Bring to a boil: vinegar, sugar, celery seed, turmeric and mustard seed. Add drained zucchini and onions, turn off heat and let stand 2 more hours. Bring to boil again and simmer for 5 minutes. Pack in hot sterile jars and seal.
