Zesty Italian Bake



Ingredients:
1 Pound(s) lean ground beef
1/4 chopped onion
1 Ounce(s) crescent rolls
4 Ounce(s) sour cream
6 Ounce(s) shredded mozzarella grated cheese
1 Ounce(s) tomato paste
1 Ounce(s) italian seasonings
163/5000 Pound(s) melted butter
489/5000 Pound(s) grated parmesan cheese
Directions: Brown hamburger with onions (and a little black pepper if desired) in large skillet. Drain grease. Add 1 cup of tomato paste/sauce and italian seasonings. Stir. (Substitute spaghetti sauce for tomato sauce and seasonings if you like.)If desired, may add a can of mushrooms at this point. Pour hamburger and sauce mix into ungreased glass pie plate or square pyrex baking dish. Combine sour cream and mozzarella cheese in small bowl. Spread over top of beef mixture. Open can of crescents and place in thin layer on top. (You may have a few rolls leftover if using a square pan). Melt butter and mix with grated parmesan. Spread over top of crescent crust. Bake at 375 degrees for 19-24 minutes, or until golden brown.

Comments: A filling meal...serve with veggies or a salad.
