Dried fruit pilaf Pour chicken broth and 2 1/4 cup water into skillet. Add rice, cinnamon,
cardamom and coriander. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and
simmer until rice is tender and liquid is absobed, about 20 minutes.

Place chicken over mixture, then place the remaining onion soup pkg over the chicken. Cover with tin foil and Creamy porkchops on rice 1. Mix rice and water in a 13x9x2 greased casserole dish.
2. Place porkchops on top of the rice and water.
3. Mix milk and mushroom soup in a medium bowl.
4. Pour mushroom soup mixture over porkchops.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour.

14 1/2 oz Can chicken stock
1/4 c Water
2 tb Lemon juice
1 c Dairy sour cream
1 ts Dill
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
12 oz Can white tuna
1/4 ts G Rice with black beans Saute onions and garlic in a small amount of liquid (the original recipe called for oil, but I just used a little water) until tender. Stir in tomatoes, beans, water, and oregano. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Return to boil. Reduce heat, cover, and sim Paprika rice Heat the oil in a heavy saucepan. Add the rice and onion and saute,
stirring, until golden. Add the tomato paste, thyme and paprika and
mix well. Pour in water and salt. Add the bay leaf and let boil for
about 20 minutes, until rice is done.
Arame rice patties Place all the ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well, using your hands if
necessary.
Shape the mixture into 6 small patties, using your hands to firmly press
the mixture together.
Heat a small amount of oil in a skillet. Place the patties Baked rice with green chiles * Use 2 4-oz cans of chopped green chiles which have been drained.
Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all the ingredients in an
ungreased 2-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes, or
until done.
Sizzling rice hot and sour soup Soak mushrooms in warm water to cover for 30 minutes; drain. Cut off and
discard stems and thinly slice caps. Set aside.
Bring broth to a boil over medium-high heat in a large pot. Add chicken and
cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes. Stir i Dried fruit-rice stuffing Melt butter in large skillet. Saute onions, celery and parsley in butter.
Remove from heat and combine with rice in large bowl. Stir in marjoram,
thyme and sage and season to taste with salt and pepper. Add eggs, stock
and fruit. Mix well. Make Black-eyed peas and barley pilaf Combine all ingredients in large skillet or saucepan. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15-20 minutes or until barley is tender.
Mushrooms & leeks with saffron rice In pressure cooker, saute garlic and leeks for 2 to 3 minutes. Use this
time to heat the water, on stove or nuke. Mix salt in water. Add water to
cooker along with remaining ingredients. Cover, lock, and immediately bring
to high pressure. Keep Spicy rice pilaf with turkey Toast cashews if using. Saute the rice, cumin seeds, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom seeds and cloves in the oil in a saucepan until the rice is browned. Add the stock or water and bring the mixture to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 45 to 50 minutes o Alisa's mexican rice Saute the rice, onion & garlic in a little oil until the onion is soft. Put
the tomatoes in a big measuring cup and squish them into pieces. You need
about 3-1/2 cups of liquid, so add water to the tomatoes til you get this
amount. Bring to Lentil and rice one-pot supper Wash and pick over lentils. Place in a large saucepan with rice and
carrots. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and
cook until rice is done, 20 to 30 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper. Deglaze with wine and reduce until nearly dry. Check for seasoning and lay mushrooms on a tray to cool completely.
In a large bowl, Mushroom and wild rice soup In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup water to a boil. Add salt and wild rice.
Cover; reduce heat to medium low. Cook until tender, 45-50 minutes.
Drain; set aside.
In a large saucepan, heat half the oil over medium high heat. Add half the
mushrooms, season Wild rice-stuffed squash 1/2 c Wild Rice, cooked
1 ts Orange Rind, grated
1/2 c Walnuts, chopped
2 tb Frozen Orange Juice Concentrat
Cut the squash in half and remove the seeds. Combine the remaining
ingredients and fill the squash with the mixture. Place in Grandmother's wild greens 1 bn mustard
1 bn collard greens
2 md Onions; chopped fine
2 md Tomatoes; peeled, chopped
3 x Cloves garlic; minced
2 ts Kosher salt
1 ts Freshly ground black pepper
1 ts Fresh lemon juice
3/4 c White wine v Brown rice with veggies In metal bowl that fits loosely in 4- or 6-quart pressure cooker, combine rice and broth. Stir in almonds and remaining ingredients, except parsley. Place cooking rack and 1 1/2 cups water in pressure cooker, place bowl on rack. Close cover securely, pla Spicy rice & vegetables Saute vegetables in butter and honey. Add rice and continue to saute until
onions are clear. Add water, and boil 5 minutes. Turn heat to low; let
rice absorb water, about 35 minutes. In last 5 minutes of cooking, add
apple and almonds.
Festival fried rice Cook bacon in large skillet over medium-low heat until crisp. Increase
heat to medium. Add onions, mushrooms, pepper, and peas; stir-fry 1
minute. Push vegetables aside; pour egg into skillet and scramble. Add
rice and soy sauce; stir until Chili rice RICE:
To prepare the rice, heat oil in a skillet. Add onion and garlic and saute until onion is translucent. Stir in cooked rice and heat thoroughly.
