If you're in the pioneering spirit, here's a sourdough for you. Yes,
sourdough IS possible in a bread machine - for bakers with the time,
patience and adventursome spirit to see this most-independent bread to
completion. Alaska sourest sourdough starter Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Add sugar vinegar,salt,all purpose
flour. Add remaining water until a creamy batter is formed.
Place in a glass bowl,cover and let sit until it starts to ferment, about 3
days. It will take on a powerful boozy 7 or 9 grain bread ~ - an easy low-rising bread - 7/9 grain cereal may be found at your HFS. -
Flour Equivalent 3 cups
7-grain vegetable and brown rice loaf Chop the nuts fine, or run through a food grinder. Add the remaining
ingredients and mix well. Place in a baking dish and bake at 350 F.

This is an especially nice version of sourdough because the sweet

Put everything in the machine in the order suggested by your
manufacturer, lock and load on regular cycle.

Sourdough starter #5 Put all ingredients in a crock or large jar and let stand in a warm place
uncovered several days. This is the authors last choice for making a
starter, but seems to be in all the cookbooks dealing with Sourdough
Starters. Use only as a last resort.
Sourdough starter #1 Mix Flour with yeast. Add enough water to make a thick batter. Set in
warm place for 24 hours or until house is filled with a delectable yeasty
smell.

This is a combination of sourdough and whole wheat, enhanced with the
nutty flavor of sesame seeds 7-grain vegetable soup Canola Oil before serving, and a handful of chopped parsley. Any other
vegetables of choice may be added or substituted.
All-grain stout The flaked barley has no husk, so I saw no reason not to grind it
finely. Mash in at 130 degrees. Let rest 20 minutes or so. Mash at 150
degrees for 115 minutes. Sparge. Let the spargings settle. What seemed to
