Whipped Shortbread



Ingredients:
2 Pound(s) cups softened butter
1 Package(s) cup sifted icing sugat
1/2 Package(s) cup cornstarch
1/10 Ounce(s) vanilla extract
3 Cup(s) all purpose flour
Directions: Cream butter and icing sugar together with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in cornstarch and vanilla. Graduarly add flour, beating until mixture is very light and fluffy. Stir in nuts, chips or cherries if desired. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 325 f fir 15 ti 20 mins.or until very light golden. Makes 60 -75 cookies 75 calories per cookie.
