Directions: I mix it up, then cook a pot of it by measuring 2 cups of cereal to 5 cups of water, bringing it to boil, & then letting it sit over night. Then I have a bowlful each morning, heated in the microwave until the cooked cereal is gone and I need to make more. Or you could do the same with a smaller amount, for one serving, say, try 1/4 cup of cereal. It's very chewy and satisfying. And of course lots of whole grains. Sometimes I just use oatmeal instead of oat groats, since they are difficult to find and I like the consistency that oatmeal adds. In the book he has a little paragraph about each grain, explaining what vitamins/minerals it has & what it's good for.

boil; remove from heat and stir in couscous. Cover and let stand for 5
minutes.
Transfer couscous to serving bowl; top with almonds and half-and-half. You
could als 10 k cereal bars Place all ingredients in large mixing bowl. Blend well. Pat into greased
8-inch square baking dish. Bake at 350° F 18 to 20 minutes or until lightly
browned. Cool and cut into 16 bars.
Denver breakfast bake Cooking times are based on quantities for 4 servings and the use of a
standard (500-625 watt) microwave oven, adjust as required. Combine the
butter, green onion and bell pepper in a (1/ Quart) microwave safe

for 2 T butter instead of applesauce. Makes 1 1/2 lb. loaf.
Panasonic/Nat'l machines use 3 1/2 t yeast. DAK/Welbilt machines, add
2 extra T water to 1 1/2 lb. loaf. Total 7-grain vegetable and brown rice loaf Chop the nuts fine, or run through a food grinder. Add the remaining
ingredients and mix well. Place in a baking dish and bake at 350 F.

If usin Apple breakfast bread Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking powder, salt, and sugar. Cut in
shortening and add raisins. Add sufficient milk to which egg has been added
to make a stiff dough. Mix thoroughly. Pour into well-oiled shallow pan.
Brush dough with melted Light grain bread 1. Follow manufacturer s directions for loading ingredients into machine.
Measure carefully.
2. Select regular, rapid or delayed-time bake cycle and follow
manufacturer's directions for starting machine.
