They will need about an hour to soak. Chop the onions, celery, and
carrots. Put the vegetables and Michelle's seasoning in a large stock pot
with the water. When Italian barley (vegan) A tasty side dish for almost any entree, this filling grain also reheats nicely in the microwave. In a medium saucepan over medium heat cook onions, green
pepper, and garlic until lightly browned. Add small amounts of water if necessary to prevent dryi Beef 'n barley dinner In a 4-quart saucepan or Dutch oven, brown ground beef. Add green pepper,
onion and garlic. Cook until onion is tender; drain. Add remaining
ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 45 to
50 minutes or until barley Wild rice, mushroom and barley soup Heat oil in large saucepan. Add mushrooms, onion, bell pepper, and garlic.
Cook, stirring, for 8-10 minutes over medium heat. Add water or broth,
