saute for 5 min. stirring frequently. Add the water, herbs, salt, pepper
and butter. Stir til it is all mixed together. Bring to a boil, then
reduce heat and simmer, cove Simple brown rice PLACE RICE, LIQUID, BUTTER and salt in a 2-to-3-quart saucepan. Bring to
the boil; stir once or twice. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 45-to-50
minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork.
Luthusupa (halibut soup) 1 ts Sugar
Cut the halibut up into suitable pieces. Bring the water, with the
vinegar, salt and bay leaves, to the boil. Add the fish and remove
scum when the water comes back the the boil. Continue simmering the

Stir in flour; gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly. Stir in
tomatoes, salt, and sugar.
Bring to boiling, stirring often; lower heat; cover. Simmer 15 minutes.
