Tuna and avocado salad Peel eggs and mash real well with a regular dinner fork (more
or less mince them). Peel avocado and squeeze 1/2 lemon on
it to keep from discoloring. Then mash real well with fork.

Potato tuna chowder In a large saucepan, combine 1 cup potatoes, chicken broth, and

Section, Sept. 29 Warm potato & tuna salad. 1. Cook the potatoes in lightly salted water for about 15 minutes or until
tender.
2. While the potatoes are cooking mix together the spring onions, most of
the parsley, the lemon juice vinegar and olive oil. Drain the potatoes and
place in Marinated tuna steaks Combine all ingredients in a plastic bag. Marinate in the fridge for atleast one half hour. Grill for approximately 8 minutes per side.
Candy melt roses Melt candy melts according to package directions. Add heated light corn
syrup and stir until thoroughly mixed. Let set at room temperature in an
airtight plastic bag for at least 24 hours or up to one week. Candy becomes
easier to work with as i Tuna dip Mix well in bowl. Serve as spread on crackers or chip dip.
Alternatively, you can use 3 cans of tuna and 1 stick of cream cheese.
Tuna pasta bowl 1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Return to pan, cover and keep warm.
2. Add beans and undrained tomatoes. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 9 minutes or until slightly thickened.

Add milk in small quantities until desired consistency is obtained.

non-metallic casserole. Pour sherry over ingredients and mix gently.

White beans with tuna salad Soak the white beans overnight to soften. Place in a large pot of water with garlic cloves and onion. Simmer for 1 hour. Remove beans and strain. Mix remaining ingredients. Add salt and pepper to taste. As an alternative, you can use white cannelloni bean Seared ahi tuna salad Make dressing:
Whisk olive oil, lime juice, orange juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, chives
and ginger in small bowl to blend. Season with salt and pepper.

Pour oil into heavy medium saucepan to depth of 1 inch. Heat oil to 375F.
Working in batc Creamed tuna Melt butter in frying pan, on medium-high heat. Cream in the flour,
browning slighlty. Add milk, stirring constantly, until the mixture

Cheesy tuna & rice Mix water and bouillon until dissolved. Add peas and boil in saucepan. Add soup and stir. Add tuna. Boil and stir in rice. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand five minutes.
Tuna noodle casserole Cook noodles. Combine all other ingredients and only half the cheese. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Seared tuna steaks with wasabi-green onion mayonnaise Whisk first 3 ingredients in small bowl to blend, adding more wasabi paste
if desired. Cover and refrigerate.
Whisk teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and rice vinegar in small bowl to blend.
Place tuna steaks in resealable plastic bag. Add teriyaki mixture; seal Ginger tuna Sprinkle the tuna steaks with 1/4 teaspoon salt and the pepper. Heat the
olive oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat until sizzling, about
2 minutes. Add the tuna steaks and cook for 2 minutes per side. The steaks

Basic grilled tuna steaks Rub the steaks with oil and squeeze half juice on top. Grill for app. 8 minutes on each side and transfer to plate. Squeeze the rest of the juice on top. Serve plain, with melted butter, or garlic mayo if you'd like.
Tuna casserole Cook and drain noodles. Add soup, tuna, 1 (soup) can milk. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top. Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes at 350.
Tuna dill salad Completely dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water, lemon
juice, dill and black pepper. Chill until slightly thickened. Blend in
sour cream. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spoon into 3 individual plastic

Hot tuna salad sandwiches Combine all ingredients and pt into the hot dog rolls. Wrap each roll in aluminum foil. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
Seared tuna steaks w. caper butter Rub the tuna with olive oil, salt and plenty of freshly ground pepper. Set aside to marinate for at least 20 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine butter, capers, and diced peppers. Turn mixture onto a square of parchment or waxed paper and roll into a log White bean and tuna spread In a small skillet heat the oil, add the onion, and saute, stirring frequently, until soft, about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic and sage, cook for 1 minute. Transfer to a food processor, add the white beans, lemon juice, tuna, and seasonings. Process unti Tuna and rice creole 1. Heat fat in skillet. Add rice, green pepper, onion and garlic; cook 5 minutes.
2. Drain mixed vegetables.
3. Combine rice with stewed tomatoes and chicken broth. Bring to boil, cover and simmer until rice is cooked, about 25 minutes.
4. Stir in Tuna melts Place tuna and cheese on bread. Place in oven on broil and wait until cheese is melted.
*Can use french bread or bagels as a substitute for sliced bread.
Family-size tuna melt Heat oven to 450 degrees. Mix baking mix, 1/3 cup mayonnaise and the milk
