Zeughauskeller potato salad (The Zeughauskeller is a big, cheerful restaurant in Zuerich which
specializes in sausages, as well as serving steak, chicken, fish, and very
good beer and Swiss wine, in an atmosphere of relaxed history [the
restaurant building used to be the Tri-color new zealand salad Wash and trim ends from kiwis. Cut into 1/4" thick slices. Cut tomato
into wedges. Slice cucumber. peel and slice avocados. Arrange
ingredients equally among salad plates. Garnish with basil sprigs.
Whisk together orange juice, vinegar and Fruit salad with nuts Scoop out melon with melon baller. Cut peel from oranges, remove white
membrane, and slice crosswise. Cut grapes in half and remove seeds. Line
a glass bowl with lettuce leaves; arrange melon balls, orange slices,

lettuce, and garnish with tomat wedges and celery leaves. Serve with French
dressing.

Strawberry salad supreme Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add strawberries, pineapple, juice from
both, and salt. Pour 1/2 of the jello mixture into a mold and refrigerate
until set. Beat cream cheese into the sour cream. Spread cheese mixture on
top of the molded jello a Kartoffelsalat m/biermarinade(potato salad/beer dressing) Boil potatoes in medium-size saucepan until just tender. Peel and slice.
Fry bacon until crisp. Break into small pieces and mix with onion, celery
and salt; set aside. Stir melted butter and flour in a small saucepan
until blended. Add must Barvarian potato salad Boil potatoes in broth with 1/4 t salt for 5 to 8 minutes, until tender. Drain. Toss warm potatoes with vegetable oil and onions. Dissolve remaining 1/4 t salt and the sugar in lemon juice. Pour over potatoes. Marinate salad 1 to 2 hours before serving. Garbanzo pasta salad Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt. Drain and rinse
well under cold water until pasta is cool; drain well.
Drain the garbanzo beans. Combine pasta, garbanzo beans, carrot, bell
pepper, and green onions in medium bowl.
Whis California chef's salad Mix the vinegar and mustard together until smooth. Add the water and oil
and whisk. Season with salt and pepper.
Assemble other ingredients on a plate like the spokes of a wheel. Drizzle
the dressing over the salad.

Rice and lentil salad Cook grains separately, in 2 cups water, until done, 45 minutes or less.
For the dressing, I used a prepared nonfat tomato-herb dressing (Trader
Joe's) mixed about half and half with red wine vinegar because I generally
find prepared nonfa 24 hour green salad Layer lettuce, celery, pepper, then frozen peas. Break and crumble over the
above another layer of lettuce. Spread mayonnaise over top - spreading
completely to edge to seal. Sprinkle sugar over mayonnaise, then cheese,
then bacon. Do not cover. R Basic grilled tuna steaks Rub the steaks with oil and squeeze half juice on top. Grill for app. 8 minutes on each side and transfer to plate. Squeeze the rest of the juice on top. Serve plain, with melted butter, or garlic mayo if you'd like.
Trifle fruit salad In large glass serving bowl, layer fruits. In medium
bowl, combine milk and sour cream; blend well. Add
pudding mix; beat until well blended, about 2 minutes.
Stir in pineapple. Spoon pudding mixture over fruit to
within 1 inch of edge. Cover; Tuna and avocado salad Peel eggs and mash real well with a regular dinner fork (more
or less mince them). Peel avocado and squeeze 1/2 lemon on
it to keep from discoloring. Then mash real well with fork.
Mix these two ingredients real well. Drain water from tuna
and mix with Hamburger fischsalat (hamburg-style fish salad) Melt butter in a frypan. Place fish in frypan and pour hot water over fish. Bring to a boil, cover, lower heat and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Meanwhile slice the 4 hard cooked eggs and the pickles. Drain fish, cool and cut into cubes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Potato salad a la trout Remove any remaining bones from fish. Flake the fish. Combine
vegetables and fish. Combine mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice,
vinegar, and seasonings; blend well. Add mayonnaise mixture to fish
mixture; toss lightly. Chill. Serve on salad gree Quick asparagus salad Cut or snap off tough ends of asparagus and cut off the small
wedge-shaped leaves up to 2 inches from the tip.
Wash well and cut on the diagonal into 1 1/2-inch lengths.
Bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan over high heat. Add the

Cantaloupe with chicken salad In a large bowl, combine chicken, blueberries, celery, grapes and almonds.
In a small bowl, mix dressing ingredients. Pour over the chicken mixture
and toss gently. Spoon into cantaloupe halves. Serves 6.

butterscotch pudding and plain yogurt well. Mix pudding mixture with apple
mixture well and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
Tuna and potato salad Blanch the defrosted green beans for 2 minutes in boiling water.
Drain and plunge in cold water. Drain.
Place the cooked potatoes, beans and tuna in a salad bowl. Mix the
anchovies and pesto with the mayonnaise and pour onto the salad. Add
Gurkensalat (cucumber relish salad) Slice cucumbers paper-thin. Sprinkle slices with sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Marinate for 20 minutes, drain off liquid, and toss lightly with sour cream. Top with minced parsley.
Good-for-you sweet potato salad Cut sweet potatoes into bite-size chunks.
Place in a steamer and steam (over boiling water) for 10 minutes or until tender when pierced with a sharp knife.
Let cool, then transfer to a large bowl.
Add scallions, celery, and parsley.
Whisk together mayonna Adobo beef salad with apricot, ginger and hibiscus salsa 1. Adobo sauce: Soak chiles in hot water for 15 minutes and puree.
2. Marinate beef in adobo sauce and vegetable oil, keep refrigerated until

Spinach salad Heat in a sauce pan the vinegar, egg, sugar and salt, until just boiling
and slightly thick. Then add the chopped onion, mustard and Worcestershire

Brought to you Oriental chicken salad a-la applebees 1. Preheat oil in deep fryer or deep pan over medium heat. You want the temperature of the oil to be around 350 degrees.
2. Blend together all ingredients for dressing in a small bowl with an electric mixer. Put dressing in refrigerator to chill while you Oriental salad Dressing:
1/3 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
seasoning packets from 2 packages Beef Ramen
combine all let sit for at least 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally
Salad:
large package coleslaw mix
1 bunch of green onion, chopped
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cu Diced pepper, tomato and onion salad Stem & de-seed the grilled bell pepper. Wash & dice the flesh. Dice the
tomatoes & mix with the peppers. Dice the onions & mix them with the other
ingredients as well. Combine the olive oil, vinegar & garlic. Add salt to
tast Antipasto pasta salad Prepare pasta according to package directions. While pasta is cooking,
combine pepper strips, artichoke hearts, cheese, mushrooms, onion and basil
in a large bowl.
When pasta is done, drain and rinse with cold water. Drain well and add
pasta an Lemon couscous salad -Bringer the water and lemon juice to a boil, add the couscous.
-Cover and remove from heat.
-Allow to steep for 5 minutes.
-Fluff the couscous with a fork and toss with the remaining ingredients.
-Season with salt and pepper.

Penny's potato salad Cook potatoes with the skins on. Don't overcook them. Drain and lay out on drain board.
Boil 1 egg per potatoe. Chop up 1 onion.
Let the potatoes cool about 10 to 15 minuets. No more. Will be kind of warm to the touch. Peel them- cut them in ch Tomato and cucumber salad Arrange the vegetables on a serving platter, sprinkle with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil.
Serve with a side of Herbed Yogurt Dressing.
Wilted spinach salad with warm apple cider and bacon dressing In a large skillet cook the bacon over moderate heat, turning it, until it is crisp, transfer it to paper towels to drain, and discard all but 2 tablespoons of the fat.
