Mix sugar, egg, and milk in a saucepan.
Cook until it bubbles around the edges, but do not boil. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Cool and pour over fruit. Toss and serve.

Set aside.

broth or water, thyme and pepper flakes, and cook over medium-high
heat for 10 minutes, or until onion is tender and just begins to

Chicken salad delight Bring water to a boil; stir in barley, bouillon granules, and 1/4 teaspoon
salt. Reduce heat. Cover; simmer 50 to 60 minutes or until tender,
stirring occasionally. Drain; cool. Combine cooked barley, chicken,

Avocado and smoked fish salad 1. Layer a dish with plastic wrap. Put the following in layers:
-avocado, mixed with lemon juice
-sour cream
-dill
-fish
-shallots
-potatoes
Cover with the plastic wrap. Put in a fridge for 15-20min. turn upside down, serve with a slice of lemon.
Chutney chicken salad In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, chutney, curry powder, lime zest, lime juice and salt. Add chicken and toss with the dressing until well coated. Add more mayonnaise to taste, if desired. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
