1 Cup(s) some water
Directions: Mix sugar, vanilla and some water in a bowl until you reach the desired consistancy.

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cream shortenin, butter, sugar and eggs. Add the molasses, ginger, cinnamon, ground cloves, baking soda and salt. Then add the flour.
Form dough into walnut size balls and roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place cookie on ungreased baking sheet (or use Silpat). Press cookie down just a little bit.
Cook for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Frost cookies as they cool.
