Ingredients: -1 summer squash1 x salt & pepper -1 yellow cheese, diced fine 1 x bread crumbs, fine -1 cream or milk1 x butter |
Directions: Depending on size of squash, allow 1/2 per person. Parboil whole squash in
salted water until tender. Remove, slice in half lengthwise. Scoop out
center of squash and place in bowl an equal amount of finely diced yellow
cheese. Add a little cream or milk, salt
&
pepper lightly, and return to
squash shell. Top with fine bread crumbs, dot with butter, and bake until
cheese is melted.

would a potato. Place in microwave at HIGH until soft when pricked with
fork, 10 to 12 minutes. Turn squash over and rotate after half the cooking
time. Let stand 5 minutes. Cu Winter squash risotto #2 Cut squash into medium-size pieces, scrape out seeds and stringy flesh and
discard. Steam cleaned pieces of squash for 10 to 15 minutes until tender.

Mushrooms stuffed with couscous Peel the mushrooms and remove the stems.
Broil them top-side up.
Place the couscous, olive oil, cumin, cayenne pepper, and lemon zest in a bowl.
Season, then stir the flavourings through the couscous.
Fill each mushroom with some of the couscous mixture a Asparagus & acorn squash rings Trim thick asparagus ends; cut squash in half crosswise. Scoop out and
discard squash seeds; slice squash into 1/4-inch rings. In kettle,
carefully cook squash rings, then asparagus in boiling, salted water until

2. Cut up zucchini and summer squash into thin slices. Cut up mushroom into pieces as well.
3. Add about 2 tablespoons olive oil to a skillet. Cover. Heat and then add garlic (for a mintue) then squashes and mushrooms.

Herb-stuffed chicken with caramalized onion, lentil, and fet Cook onions in oil in a 12-inch heavy nonstick skillet over moderately low
heat, stirring frequently, until deep golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
Transfer to a medium bowl, reserving 3 1/2 tablespoons onions in a small

in a shallow baking dish & bake them in a preheated oven at 350F for
30 minutes. Or steam o Bacon stuffed cornish game hens ( microwave ) In a 1 quart casserole microwave bacon at high for 4 to 5 minutes or
until crisp. Remove to paper towels. Drain fat, reserving 3
tablespoons. Add onion and celery to fat in casserole. Microwave at
high for 2 to 4 minutes or until tender. Stir in bacon All-hands stuffed chicken breast James Brown, of Engine Company 81 in the Bronx, New York, won the contest
with this dish. You can tell just by reading the recipe that this fireman
knows his stuff. I can imagine the pleasure that Company 81 gets when this
man turns on the fires . Warm garlic-rosemary stuffed camembert Heat oven to 400 degrees. Wrap garlic in heavy-duty foil; bake 20-30 minutes or until cloves are soft but not mushy. When cool, peel; cut each clove into 1/4-inch slices.
