Directions: Heat milk in a saucepan. Gradually stir in the cornmeal. Let the mixture
come to a boil, stirring constantly, and cook until the mixture thickens.
Remove from heat, add salt, butter and eggs, and stir well. Stir in the
baking powder. Pour into a greased 1.1/2 quart baking dish, and bake at 350
degrees for 30 minutes. Top with butter. Serve directly from the baking
dish or spoon into warmed dishes. Serve in the place of potatoes, rice or
bread.
