Directions: Cream shortening, sugar, molasses, and egg.
Mix dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture.
Refrigerate 30 minutes. Roll into 1 inch balls and roll in additional amount sugar.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
