Slush with a punch Combine sugar & water in a saucepan; bring to boil, stirring until
sugar dissolves. Cool. Add concentrates & liqueur, stirring well.
Pour mix into large freezer-safe container, & freeze. To serve, spoon

Harvest pear pie Core,skin and slice pears and treat to prevent browning. Hand toss pears, sugar, corn starch, lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg together in a bowl. Chop one onion; set aside. Quarter the other two;
place in a Dutch oven with chicken, water, celery,
salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 2 hours or until
chicken is tender. Remove chicken; set aside. Discard
celery and onion. To Mike's milk punch Whip first 5 ingredients in blender until foamy. Stir in ice. Strain
punch inot two 6-oz glasses or mugs. Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve.

Brown cow punch In a punch bowl, combine milk and extract. Add ice cream by scoopfuls and allow to float on top of punch. Or scoop ice cream into glasses, combine milk and extract, then pour over ice cream.
Yield: 3 quarts.
If coffee ice cream is unavailable, dissolve 2 Hot punch Combine sugar and water. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add
spices. Cover and let brew 1 hour. Strain. Before serving, combine
syrup, juices and cider. Bring quickly to boil and serve immediately.
Bubbling jade punch You can use any flavor of Jello in this recipe. Dissolve gelatin in
boiling water; stir in cold water, lemonade concentrate, and pineapple
juice; chill well. Don't chill too long or it solidifies!! Add ginger ale
before serving.
Champagne punch Combine sugar and Grand Marnier in a punch bowl; stir until sugar
dissolves. Place peach slices in punch bowl; pour in wine and champagne,
stirring until peaches separate. Serve in glasses with a peach slice in
each.
Mocha punch Melt chocolate over hot water. Add sugar, salt and boiling water to melted
chocolate. Stir and cook for 5 minutes. Add milk and heavy cream. Chill.
Mix vanilla with strong coffee and add to first mixture. Beat well. Serve
in chilled glasses with a s Sparkling raspberry tea Mix all ingredients. Serve over ice. Garnish with raspberries, lime or
lemon slices and fresh mint if desired.
Desmond's rum punch Combine all ingredients in a large cocktail shaker. Shake well to combine. Pour into a glass. Garnish with swizzle stick.
SUGAR SYRUP Makes 3/4 cup
Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan. Boil for 5 minutes. Let cool.
Store extra syrup in refri Three fruit punch Place sugar and grapefruit juice in a large, heavy, NON-aluminum
kettle and stir until sugar dissolves. Mix in all but last 2
ingredients. To serve, place a large block of ice in a large punch
bowl, then fill. Float orange slices on top and 7-up punch Mix sugar and water. Chill. Add fruit juices. Add bananas right away. (That
is, don't let the mashed bananas sit.) Freeze. When ready to serve, break
up the frozen base into pieces. Add strawberries and enough 7-up® to
stretch.
Sparkling red slush punch Stir sugar into boiling water. Let cool. Add other liquids and
freeze. Remove from freezer 1/2 hour before serving. Scoop out slush
into punch bowl. When bowl is 1/2 full, slowly add lemon-lime soda

cloves, and cinnamon stick in layers of cheesecloth; add to kettle. Cover.

sugar cubes; stir vigorously Spiced hot grape punch Combine grape juice, apple juice, lemon juice, brown sugar, ginger,
cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon stick in large nonaluminum saucepan. bring
just to simmering. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes. Strain to remove
spices. Serve hot in mugs.

cherries, raisins, and brandy and set aside.(in the
time it takes to prepare the apples and dough for
crust, fruit should absorb brandy.) Add apples, ground

-------- Spiced percolator punch Combine the juices and sugar in a 24 cup percolator. Put the cloves, cinnamon sticks and the peel of the orange, cut into strips, into the basket of the percolator. Percolate; remove basket. May add 1 cup light rum just before serving.
Wassal punch Combine all ingredients and simmer over low heat for 2 hours.
Delores's punch Add jello (any flavor), 3 cups sugar and 2 quarts hot water, stir until
dissolved. Add 3/4 cup Real Lemon, 1/2 of large can Pineapple juice, 1
small can frozen orange juice concentrate and 2 quarts cold water, then
freeze. Let thaw just prior to ser Harvest vegetable curry * Parsley can be used instead of coriander, couscous
or bulgur can be used instead of brown rice, vegetable
stock or water can be used instead of chicken stock.
The hot pepper flakes are optional. Steam carrots and
squash for 5 minutes. Add Whisky punch and whisky toddy Peel lemons finely, squeeze out juice, put peel and juice in large jug with sugar.
Pour boiling water over, leave until cold.
Strain into large bowl, add bottle of Scotch whisky, stirring well.

Prepa "smoking" punch To make it "smoke" put dry ice in instead of regular ice.
This punch is not alcoholic, but it tastes as if their might be something
in it. Since my family knows what's in it, we don't care, but I have had
the question put to me Harvest spice whipped cream Simmer the cream and tea bags in a small pot for 6 to 10 minutes.
Remove the tea bags, squeezing out the excess cream, and discard the
bags. Mix the cream and sugar together in a large bowl. Whip until
fluffy. Serve with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
Cheddar harvest fondue In a medium saucepan combine until smooth: milk, apple juice, flour,
mustard, onion powder, salt and black pepper. Cook and stir over medium
heat until mixture thickens and boils; cook and stir one minute longer.

"My mother-in-law, Laura Cunningham Dobson, gave me this recipe in the
1950s. Laura was a teacher and musician, a good cook and a beautiful
person. We like this drink Tropical fruit punch Dissolve sugar in boiling water; cool. Add all the remaining
ingredients. Serve.
Caribbean guava punch Mix all ingredients in a very large punchbowl except the gingerale. Add gingerale just before serving time. Add ice cubes to suit.
Makes about 20 servings.
Harvest rice Cook carrots in oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until tender
crisp. Add onions and apples; cook 5 minutes. Stir in rice, raisins,
sesame seed, and salt. Cook, stirring until thoroughly heated. Pink lady punch Blend strawberries and add rest of mixture.
