Directions: Cut beef into slices 1/3" thick. Heat oil for deep-frying. Fry beef slices
about 8 minutes; drain. Pour off all but 3 cups oil. Stir-fry pepper,
peppercorns and anise. Add remaining ingredients with beef and cook about 8
minutes over medium heat until thickened. TIP: This dish may also be made
with chicken.

This cinnamon-orange marinade, characteristic of Balkan cooking, is a
specialty of Georgia in south-central Russia. The tabaka marinade is
usually used with chicken and game hen, but it a Beef with asparagus (prodigy) COAT BEEF THOROUGHLY. Marinate 10 minutes. Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons peanut
oil in a wok over a high flame and stir-fry the beef long enough to brown
it lightly. Remove from wok and drain. In the remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons
of oil, stir-fry the as Dendeng pedas ('hot' fried beef) Cut the beef fairly thin and trim it into small, square pieces.
Marinate it for 1 hour or longer. Remember that pedas=hot++spicy hot!

Winter salsa with chipotle and orange In a skillet sautee yellow bell pepper and onion in 1 1/2 tablespoons oil over moderately high heat until vegetables are just tender and beginning to brown.
Grate 1/2 teaspoon zest from orange and reserve. Squeeze juice from orange. Add orange juice and c Orange juice chicken 1. Fry chicken till brown. Add whisky, orange juice, half of scallions. Once it starts boiling, decrease the temp-re and simmer.
2. Mix cornstarch with water and add to cottage cheese. Add to chicken and bring to boil. Decrease temp-re and simmer 5 min. Skillet beef hash Preparation time = 25 minutes
Substitutions: bouillon package in lieu bouillon cube; or equivalent
Green beans may be used in lieu of mixed vegetables. Favorite herbs and
spices (incl Mrs Dash) can be substituted for listed spices. Quantities of
Chocolate orange sorbet Bring first 3 ingredients to boil in large saucepan over medium-high heat,
stirring until sugar dissolves. Mix in orange juice concentrate. Reduce
