Ingredients: 1 Pound(s) Ground beef 1/4 Pound(s) Mild pork sausage 1/3 Cup(s) Chopped onion 1/2 Teaspoon(s) Minced garlic 1 1/2 Teaspoon(s) Salt 1/4 Cup(s) Chopped parsley 1 Teaspoon(s) Marjoram 1/2 Cup(s) Crushed pineapple; drained 1/2 Cup(s) Dr Pepper 1 Cup(s) Sour cream 8 Hamburger buns |
Directions: In 10-inch skillet saut? ground beef, pork, onion, garlic, and salt. Add
parsley, marjoram, pineapple and Dr Pepper, mixing thoroughly with other
ingredients until well blended. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring
occasionally. Add sour cream and heat uncovered for about 5 minutes. Serve
1/3 cup hot mixture on each heated bun.** Serve immediately.
**To prevent soggy, wet sandwiches, always serve hot fillings on heated
buns.
Yield: 8 burgers
