bake at 350F 45 minutes. Turn and bake 45 minutes longer, or until
shell yields to pressure. When cool enough to handle, cut squash in

whole clove. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for about an hour. Rub
through a sieve. Stir in milk, salt and pepper. Heat through without

Smoked acorn squash Steam the squash over moderate heat for 20 minutes or until tender. Combine
all the ingredients except the butter. Pout 1/4 of this mixture into each
squash half. Add 1/2 tsp butter to each and season with salt and pepper.
Smoke for 15 minutes.
Acorn squash Preheat oven to 375.
Cut the squash in half and scoop out seeds. Add 1/2 Tbsp. of butter, 1 tsp. honey, 1 Tbsp. brown sugar and salt and pepper to each half.
Place upright on a greased cookie sheet and roast for 30 minutes or until tender.

saucepan. Cover and steam until tender, about 10 minutes. Cool squash

squash, cut sides up, in ungreased pan. Spoon 1 tablespoon syrup and 1
tablespoon whipping cream into each half.
