Ingredients:
1 Pound(s) 8 oz linguine
163/625 Pound(s) butter
2 Pound(s) garlic
1 Ounce(s) 3 oz cream cheese
2 Bunch(s) chopped fresh parsley
1/8 Ounce(s) dried basil leaves
2/3 Cup(s) boiling water
1/2 cooked shrimp
1/2 fresh, sliced mushroom
Directions: 1. Saute mushrooms in a little butter or margarine until tender and cooked. 2. Cook linguini according to package directions and drain. 3. In a saute pan melt the butter or margarine with the garlic. Stir in the cream cheese breaking it up with a spoon as it melts. Stir in the parsley and basil. Simmer for 5 minutes. This will seem like a lumpy mess but simmer for 5 minutes and then stir in the boiling water and mix until smooth. 4. Add the cooked shrimp and mushrooms and heat through. Toss with the cooked linguini and serve.
