Ingredients: 6 Cup(s) Pieces mixed salad greens 2 medium Stalks celery, thinly sliced 1 Cup(s) Radishes,thinly sliced 1/2 Cup(s) Green onions, sliced 12 Slice(s) Bacon, cooked & crumbled 10 Ounce(s) Frozen green peas, thawed 1 1/2 Cup(s) Mayonnaise or salad dressing 1/2 Cup(s) Grated parmesan cheese |
Directions: Place salad greens in large glass bowl. Layer celery, radishes, onion,
bacon, and peas on salad greens. Spread mayonnaise over peas,
covering top completely and sealing to edge of bowl. Sprinkle with
cheese. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours to blend flavors but no
longer than 12 hours. Toss before serving if desired. Cover and
refrigerate any remaining salad

Warm rice salad In pie plate, microwave butter until melted. Stir in almonds, microwave at

In 8-cup casserole, microwave stock, rice and barley at High for 8 minutes

Brown rice salad In a heavy casserole, heat the oil over moderate heat. Add the rice and

Stir in the vegetable stock, cover the pan and reduce the heat to low.
