Ingredients:
1/2 caraway seeds
1/2 apple juice
2 Pound(s) drained sauerkraut
1 Can(s) 14.5 tomato, canned
2 Clove(s) garlic
2 carrot
2 onion, yellow
869/10000 Ounce(s) black pepper
1 1/2 kielbasa, turkey
Directions: Cut kielbasa into at least 6 pieces. Slice onions and separate into rings and place into 5 qt slow cooker. Peel and slice carrots into 1/2 inch pieces. Place into slow cooker. Mince garlic and put into slow cooker. Drain off juices from tomatoes and set aside. Coarsely chop tomatoes and add to slow cooker along with the drained sauerkraut. In a medium bowl, combine reserved tomato juice, apple juice, caraway seeds and black pepper. Pour over sauerkraut. Do not stir. Top with kielbasa pieces. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours or on high for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours. To serve, pile sauerkraut onto a platter and top with sausage pieces.
