Directions: Put meat and onion through medium blade of a food grinder add parsley, blend well, and saute in three tablespoon shortening or butter until browned. Add two cups flour mixed with salt, dry mustard and milk. Blend. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick. Cool, mix with sauerkraut and put mixter through food chopper. Mix throughly. Return to ckillet and cook. Stirring constantly until thick. Cool. Form into walnut sized balls. Roll in flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs. Fry a few at a time in deep fat at 370 degrees until browned. Drain on absorbent paper and serve piping hot.

Bulghur "meat" balls with fresh vegetable sauce Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine the bulghur wheat, tofu, bread crumbs, salt, soy sauce, green
onions, coriander, and thyme. Shape mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls. Bake on
a cookie sheet sprayed with vegetable spray for 10 minutes on each side. Ohio sauerkraut balls Drain and mince sauerkraut, reserve.
Brown sausage in large frying pan. Drain.
Add sauerkraut and cream cheese. Cook until cheese is completely melted.
If desired, add salt, pepper, parsley and paprika to mixture.
Chill mixture about 2 hours.
Preheat oven Butter balls Cream butter, add sugar, and blend Stir in vanilla. Add sifted flour, mix
well. Fold in chopped nuts, shape into small balls. Place on an ungreased
baking sheet. Bake in a 350 preheated oven for 20 minutes. Roll in powdered
sugar.
Fruit-flavor popcorn balls Bring syrup and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat and add Jell-O
Gelatin, stirring until dissolved. Add peanuts and pour over popcorn,
mixing well. Quickly form into 1 1/2" balls. Makes about 4 dozen.
Double choco-cherry rum balls Melt chocolate. Stir in corn syrup, rum and ginger ale. In large bowl, mix
together the crumbs, nuts, powdered sugar and cherries. Add chocolate
mixture. Stir until well blended. Let stand 30 minutes. Shape into 1" balls
and roll in sugar.
Spinach balls Combine all ingredients. Refrigerate 2 hours.
Form into small balls aout 1" to 1 1/2" each, place on ungreased cokie sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes, until just turning brown on the bottom.
Makes about 60 balls.
Slovak sauerkraut soup 1. In large kettle bring water, potatoes, and 1/2 tsp salt to boiling; cook, covered, over med. heat till tender.
2. Add sausage, sauerkraut rinsed very well in cold water, onion, garlic, dill and caraway. Bring to boil.

Hochrippe und sauerkraut (spareribs and sauerkraut) Rinse and drain the sauerkraut. Place sauerkraut in large 4-quart
casserole. Add 2 qts. hot water. Add uncooked spareribs, paprika,
bouillon cubes, caraway seeds, and pepper. Cook covered, over low heat, 3
to 4 hours. Fry floured bacon slices. Break Diabetic cream cheese balls Cream the cream cheese and add pecans. Chill until cheese will form balls. Dip balls into melted white cote or milk cote chocolate coating. Makes about 25 balls.
German sauerkraut casserole Remove skin and bones from chicken breast halves. Heat oven to 350
degrees.
Spread sauerkraut evenly in the bottom of a rectangular 11x7 baking dish.
Place chicken breast halves on the sauerkraut; sprinkle with garlic
powder. Spread barbecue sau Thai chicken balls Mix the chicken and breadcrumbs in a large bowl. Add the green onion,

Ableskiver (pancake balls) Set an ableskiver pan over low heat
Sift together and set aside:
Make a well in center of dry ingredients. Add liquid mixture all at one
time, stirring until well blended.
Beat until rounded peaks are formed: 3 egg whites. Gently spread batter Buck-eye balls Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Mix peanut butter, vanilla, sugar and
butter with hands to form a smooth dough. Shape into 1" balls. Refrigerate.
Melt chocolate and shortening together. When smooth pour into a small bowl.
Dip 3/4 of ball in No-bake gingersnap balls 1. Place cookies in large resealable plastic food storage bag; crush finely with rolling pin or meat mallet.
2. Combine corn syrup and peanut butter in medium bowl. Add crushed gigersnaps; mix well. (Mixture should hold together without being sticky. Popcorn balls Heat sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt to boiling in a large pan over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Boil and stir 2 minutes; remove from heat.
Stir in popcorn until well coated; cool slightly.
Dip hands into cold water.
Shape mixture into 8 balls, ea Sausage balls Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Grate the cheese. Combine all the
ingredients and knead until well mixed. You may need to add a little beef
broth to get it to stick together.
Shape into 1-inch balls and place on a cookie sheet or broiler Christmas balls Heat margarine and marshmallows in 3-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring
constantly, until melted; remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and food color.
Fold in cereal until well coated. Shape warm mixture into balls with

sugar, bourbon, corn syrup, and a dash of salt. Form into small
balls the size of walnuts.
2. Roll each ball in the remaining 1 cup confectioner's sugar and
place o Struffoli (honey balls) Whisk together: eggs, butter, 1 tsp sugar until foamy. Add baking
powder; add flour. Work the mixture into a soft dough with your
hands. Divide dough into 4 pieces. On a floured surface, roll each
piece into a rope about the width of your in Buffalo balls Form into balls and bake @ 400 Degrees till well done. Doused in your favorite Buffalo Wing Sauce recipie.
Suggested Wine: White Zinfandel Serving Ideas. Makes good stuffing for bell peppers and stuffeg cabbage.
NOTES : I have scaled this up to make 48 me Martha washington balls Melt butter in a bowl. Add powdered sugar and mix well. Add remaining ingredients(1) and mix well. Grease hands and roll into small balls and chill.
Melt chocolate almond bark or chocolate chips in microwave and dip rolled balls. Put ball on wax paper and Chocolate peanut-butter balls Mix peanut-butter, powdered-sugar, butter and rice crispies together by hand in a large bowl (it will come together, give it time). Form into meatball sized balls. Melt chocolate chips and paraffin in a double boiler. Roll balls in chocolate. Place on Pecan cashew popcorn balls Combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup and water in a
heavy pan fitted with a candy thermometer and place over high heat.
Bring mixture to a boil and add the butter, stirring until it has

remaining ingredients (stuffing mix, parmesan cheese, garlic, onion, eggs
and butter) and mix well. Form the mixture into small balls and place on a
