Salsa alla Marinara (Mariner's Sauce)



Ingredients:
3 Tablespoon(s) Garlic cloves, minced
1/4 Cup(s) Minced parsley
1/2 Cup(s) Olive oil
2 Cup(s) Chopped, peeled tomatoes
1 Teaspoon(s) Crumbled, dried oregano
Directions: Saute garlic and parsley in oil. When garlic is delicately brown, add tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes, or until well-blended and thick. Makes about 1 1/2 cups. Source: Woman's Day Encyclopedia of Cookery.
