Directions: DRESSING: Crumble cornbread and toasted bread in a large bowl. Add onion,
chopped boiled egg and chopped celery. Add boiling broth to mixture. Add
crumbled sage leaves. Salt and pepper to taste. Add raw eggs and melted
margarine. Blend well. Pour into a buttered baking dish and bake at 425
degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. CORNBREAD: Mix cornmeal, flour, eggs, and
buttermilk in a bowl. Pour into a well greased pan. Bake at 425 degrees
for 20 to 25 minutes or until done. NOTE: I like more sage, some one else
may like less.

Buttermilk ranch salad dressing Whisk the mayo, add and whisk together all ingredients except buttermilk, then whisk in buttermilk.
Cooked dressing for frozen fruit salad Blend eggs, sugar and flour in double boiler. Gradually add juice, cook
until thickened then cool. top salad with this and then put a little
whipped cream on top of this.

Dandelion salad with hot bacon dressing Tear the washed greens as you would for any garden salad and place in a bowl.
Fry the bacon until crisp (or used pre-cooked bacon or bacon pieces). Remove and drain on paper towels, saving the fat for the dreassing.
Boil 4 of the eggs for 15 minutes. Then All-apple salad with florida dressing 1 x Tangelo, juice of
6 x Different kinds of apples
Note: Try Red and Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Rome Beauty,
MacIntosh and Winesap apples.
Core and dice apples. mix yogurt and juices and pour over apples.
Chill and serve. Makes 4 Jalapeno cornbread (claiborne) PREPARATION: Adjust oven rack to center position; heat oven to 400F.

bowl combine the vinegar and sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Mix

Break sausage into small pieces over stuffing mix in a large bowl and
sprinkle with baking powder. add celery, onion and egg beaten with water.
Toss gent Japanese-style dressing Vary the amount of ginger to your taste Southern egg bread for dressing Scald the cornmeal with boiling water. Cool.
Blend eggs, buttermilk, shortening and baking powder. when cornmeal is
cool add milk mixture and thoroughly blend.
Pour in a well greased pan and bake 25 minutes in moderately hot oven.

Fruit dressing for fruit salad In blender jar combine lemonade, ginger, orange bits, mace and allspice.
Blend until smooth. stir in sour cream.
Serve with any fruit salad.
Southern dressing Put your egg bread in large mixing bowl. Break your 1/2 slice of bread in
small pieces. add eggs, butter, stock, onions and celery. Add some salt
and pepper to taste.
I always use a potato masher to get it mixed well. I always put enough
stock to make Achara zuke (turnips in vinegar dressing) Starting a day ahead, peel the turnips &, one at a time, slice them
in the following fashion: Make thin slices down to within 1/8" of the
base, move the turnip a half turn clockwise & make similar slices
intersecting the first ones. Barbecued ribs (four great southern cooks) Slice the ribs apart and place in a large cast iron skillet. Cover with salted water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer over low heat for one hour, or until the meat is fork tender but not falling from the bones.
