Directions: This fresh fruit medley is gleefully marinated in a blend of maple syrup, lemon and vodka.
1. Combine cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries, nectarines, black- or blueberries, watermelon and cherries in a large bowl; sprinkle salad with lemon juice and toss gently.
2. Whisk together maple syrup and vodka; pour on top of fruit salad; mix well and refrigerate until serving.
Makes 20 servings.
Note: Melons can be exposed to salmonella and e. coli bacteria as they ripen on the ground. As a precaution, they should be washed with soap and hot water, then rinsed before proceeding with any recipe. This applies even if you are only using the flesh of the melon; the mere act of cutting through the rind is enough to bring harmful bacteria in contact with the flesh.

Winter roast vegetable salad Sometimes it looks as though the cupboards are bare, but this idea might help make a few vegetables go a little further in a new way!
Coat with olive oil, salt and pepper and cook in a 200 degree oven for 30 minutes.
To serve:
Put a handful of salad green Chicken avacado rice salad Refrigerate cooked rice until cold. Peel the avacado and slice lengthwise
into 1/2 inch-thick strips. Coat with lemon juice, and refrigerate until
well chilled. In a large mixing bowl, combine the scallions, olives,
chicken and rice. Toss ge Oriental noodle salad Prepare salad: Cook pasta according to package directions. Add carrots and
snow peas during last 30 seconds of cooking time. Drain; rinse with cold
water; drain well. Combine pasta, red pepper, green onion, bamboo shoots,
water chestnuts, and bab Turkey tonnato salad For dressing, puree tuna with garlic, anchovies, mayonnaise and sour cream
or yogurt. Season with pepper.

Tangy mashed potato salad Cook potatoes in boiling water until just cooked through. In a medium bowl,
whisk together the yogurt, mayonnaise, dill, vinegar, pepper and 1/2
teaspoon salt. Pour the dressing over the potatoes and toss thoroughly.

2. Bring the milk almost to the boiling point and add gradually to the egg

Fruited smoked turkey salad * To toast almonds, spread nuts on a cookie sheet; bake at 350~ for 5-10
minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
Cook mostaccioli to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain;

gelatin. Stir until dissolved. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add
remaining fruit juice and beat. Add gelatine and fruit. Whip the cream
