Directions: Peel the rockmelon, remove seeds and slice into wedges. Combine with

Orange juice chicken 1. Fry chicken till brown. Add whisky, orange juice, half of scallions. Once it starts boiling, decrease the temp-re and simmer.
2. Mix cornstarch with water and add to cottage cheese. Add to chicken and bring to boil. Decrease temp-re and simmer 5 min. Country ham, virginia peanuts and black-eyed pea salad Put peas in a saucepan with 3 cups water and 1/4 ts salt. Simmer over
medium-high heat until fully cooked but not mushy, 25-30 minutes.
Drain. Rinse under cold water. Dry well. Whisk together 2 tb peanut
oil, 1 tb vinegar and 1/4 ts peanut butt Broiled orange cake FOR THE CAKE: Cream butter, add sugar, and blend. Add unbeaten egg and beat
well. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with buttermilk.
Blend in raisins, orange rind, and nuts, if desired. Pour into 8 x 11 x
2-inch pan and start in co $200 salad dressing Mr. and Mrs. Robbins were taking a motor trip last year through

Refrigerate and marinate for at least an hour.
In a medium size saute pan on medium heat, add 2 t Creamy tofu dressing Place tofu slices in a blender or a food processor fitted with the metal
blade. Add remaining ingredients and only as much water as needed to make
desired consistencey. Process until smooth. Makes 2 cups. Food Exchange

Boil potatoes in their jackets until barely tender. Cool enough to handle,
cut into generous bite-size pieces while still warm. Place potatoes in a
large salad bowl along with onion rings and green pep Cool lemon chicken salad Mix dressing, basil, juice and peel in large bowl. Add remaining
ingredients, mix lightly. Refrigerate. Serve on lettuce-lined platter.

In a large mixing bowl combine the garbanzo beans, wax beans, kidney
beans, green pepper, carrot, and onions. Pour vinegar mixture over
vegetables and stir lightly. Cover an New potato salad (satterly) In a medium pot, cook quartered potatoes in salted water till tender.
Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Drain potatoes,
add to the bowl & toss gently. Serve warm or at room temperature or cold.

This cinnamon-orange marinade, characteristic of Balkan cooking, is a
specialty of Georgia in south-central Russia. The tabaka marinade is
