Rigatoni with Turkey Sausage and Mozzarella



Ingredients:
8 spelt
3/4 Pound(s) hot or sweet turkey sausage
3 Cup(s) low-sugar pasta sauce
4 mozzarella cheese, shredded
4 Ounce(s) basil, fresh
Directions: Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside. While pasta is cooking, heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add sausages and cook, turning often, until no longer pink inside, about 15 minutes. Transfer to a cutting board and slice diagonally unto 1/4-inch-thick pieces. Heat pasta sauce over medium heat until hot. Place pasta, sausage, sauce, cheese, and basil in a large bowl and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper and serve hot.
