Directions: In a medium size mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, maple syrup, garlic, ginger root, mustard powder, sesame oil, and Tabasco sauce; mix well to blend. Now add beer, and stir lightly to mix.
Prepare steaks by scoring any fatty outside areas on steak with a knife, (this prevents the steaks from curling when barbecuing). Place steaks in a casserole dish, and pour marinade over. Using a fork, punch holes in steaks so that the marinade penetrates into the steaks. Turn steaks over, and repeat punching holes.
Cover with clear wrap or foil, and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or longer. You can also refrigerate and marinate overnight.
Prepare and preheat barbecue to high heat. Place steaks directly on grill and sear one side for about 15 seconds. Turn steaks over and cook for about 5 minutes, then turn over and cook for another 5 minutes for medium-rare, depending on thickness. Test for doneness by cutting into the middle of the steak.

minutes each side or until cooked to your liking. While the steaks are
cooking, heat the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onions
and garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add Honey ginger chicken Cut the breast in half and remove breastbone. Combine the onion,
honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and sherry. Arrange chicken pieces
in single layer, preferably in baking dish that can go into the oven

Rib 'n' beer marinade Combine beer, sugar, vinegar, spices in a large pan. Bring to a boil,

Slit the shrimp up the back with a sharp knife and re Lemon and thyme marinade This is a tangy marinade, containing equal amounts of lemon juice and oil,
and is good for rich meats like chicken thighs. It can be used for chicken
breasts too, but their skin should be on for additional protection during
grilling or broiling Ginger-beef stir-fry Sauce:
Combine sherry, soy sauce, 7/8 teaspoon ground ginger and 1/3 cup water. Set aside.
Stir-fry:
Preheat wok or large skillet over high heat; add oil. (Add more oil as necessary during cooking). Stir-fry garlic and 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger in hot oi Spicy steak marinade Combine all ingredients. Use to marinate any steak for about an hour. Use
marinade to baste beef while cooking. Serve garnished with olives if

Asparagus with ginger-orange butter 1 Grate 2 tsp orange zest (colored part of peel); place in small bowl.
