Ingredients: 151/193 Pound(s) sugar 1/2 Pint(s) cream, whipping 4 rhubarb 1 Package(s) butter cake mix, yellow 1 food coloring, red |
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix a yellow cake mix as directed on package.
Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 cake pan.
Dice 4 cups rhubarb and mix with 1.5 cups sugar. Sprinkle over the cake batter. Press the rhubarb lightly into the batter.
Mix 1 tsp. red food coloring in 1 cup whipping cream (do not whip). Pour over rhubarb mixture.
Bake in 350 degree oven for about 40 minutes. Let set 10 minutes.
Optional: Then turn over on cookie sheet (Has nevered worked!)
Serve warm with cool whip.
