Versatile nutty dressing Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor; process to desired smoothness. Makes
1-1/4 cups.
Suggestions:
* For a green salad, toss with a variety of greens, chunky raw vegetables and chickpeas.
* For cole slaw, toss with shredded cabbage and Electronic gourmet's herb salad dressing 1) Place oil, herbs, salt and pepper in a shaker bottle or large glass
measuring cup. Let stand at room temperature for 3 to 4 hours. The

until thickened then cool. top salad with this and then put a little
whipped cream on top of this.

Rosy beet and potato salad with garlic dressing Remove greens from beets. Cut greens into 1-inch-thick slices and
boil until wilted and tender. Drain thoroughly and set aside.
Boil beets until completely tender. Drain, then cover in cold water to
cool. When cooled, slip off roots and skin Brown rice dressing Combine rice, broth, and salt in 3-quart pan. Heat to boiling. Stir. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 45 minutes. Cook onions, celery and garlic in butter until tender, stir into cooked rice. Add seasoning.

A simple dressing Beat all ingredients together with a rotary beater or wire beater. Or you
can put it in a jar, cover and shake well. this is a fine dressing to use
on lettuce and fresh tomatoes. Many of the recipes in this collection did
not contain amounts or o New england potato salad with sour cream dressing Peel potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch cubes and chill. Add celery, 3 tbsps
vinegar and salt. Fold eggs into sour cream, add reamining vinegar,

"thyme and thyme again" dressing Place all ingredients in a jar, seal tightly, and shake vigorously
for 10 seconds. Use immediately or refrigerate. Shake again before
serving. If kept refrigerated, the vinaigrette should keep for up to

Herbed yogurt dressing In a small serving bowl mix together all the ingredients. If you wish to omit the cayenne pepper try replacing it with a few grinds of fresh black pepper. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours so the flavors can come together.
Serve as a dipping sauce for fr Falafel (tahini dressing) Mix all ingredients. The mixture should be the consistency of a creamy salad dressing. Add more water, if necessary. Use as a sauce for a falafel sandwich. Grilled vegetable salad with old bay dressing Grill all vegetables, chop into bite size pieces and toss with dressing.
Buttermilk ranch salad dressing Whisk the mayo, add and whisk together all ingredients except buttermilk, then whisk in buttermilk.
