Ragout of Venison



Ingredients:
1/2 Teaspoon(s) curry powder
1/6 Ounce(s) salt
1 Ounce(s) bourbon whiskey
1/2 Cup(s) beer
10 Ounce(s) beef broth
4 Cup(s) water
5 Pound(s) minced garlic
3 large, chopped onion
3 Pound(s) cubed venison roast
4 Slice(s) bacon
1/2 Package(s) mushrooms
Directions: Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp. Remove bacon, reserve drippings. Crumble bacon and set aside. Add venison, onion & garlic to drippings. Cook stirring frequently until meat is browned. Add water, beef broth, beer, bourbon, salt, and curry powder stirring well. cover and simmer 5; stirring occasionally. Add reserved bacon and sliced mushrooms. Cover and simmer and additional. Serve over rice.
