Directions:
Preheat oven to 170 degrees. Once preheated turn off oven. Pour water into bowl with yeast, let yeast sit for a few minutes then stir with fork until dissolved. Add sugar, salt, 1 Tbsp oil, and 1 cup flour. Mix. Add remainder of flour and oil. Mix. Remove dough from bowl and kneed. Coat bowl with oil and place dough back in bowl. Cover bowl with clean dish towel and place in warmed oven. Let rise for 1/2 hour. Cut dough in half and freeze half. Place pizza stone in oven while preheating to 425degrees. Once preheated remove pizza stone and sprinkle corn meal on it. Place dough half on pizza stone and press into circle. Place pizza stone with dough pressed out in 425 degree oven for 6-7 minutes. Be sure to check for bubbles and pop them if necessary. Remove pizza stone and dough and build pizza on top. Cook pizza at 425 for 7 - 11 minutes or until cheese is completely melted. Remove pizza and let sit for several minutes before cutting. |

Directions:

TO USE NON-INSTANT YEAST: Combine water, yeast, and 2 c. of the flour. Let sit until bubbly, then add remaining ingredients and proceed with the recipe. |

lowest rack of a cold oven; preheat for 30 minutes to 500 degrees F
or the highest setting.
