Saute garlic and mushrooms with herbs until browned. Add goat cheese. Mix

Brown stew and cabbage The combination of vegetables makes plain stew extraordinary. Put stew in a Dutch oven with thyme and bayleaf. Bring to a boil. Add potatoes, reduce heat, cover and cook gently 30 minutes. Add cabbage, salt and pepper, cover and simmer 10 minutes. Taste s Cholent (vegetable stew) Soak beans overnight in a lg. bowl. Drain and cull any dried-out beans.
Saute onions and garlic in a few Tbsp water until onions are translucent.
Add barley and beans and cover with water by at least 2". Bring to boil and
cook 30 min over low Kari-kare (meat and vegetable stew in peanut sauce) 1. Place hocks or oxtail pieces in a large pot. Add enough water to
cover. Bring to boil, lower heat and simmer for 1-1/2 hours or until
tender.
2. If using achute water, soak 1 tablespoon of achute seeds in water for 30 minutes. Squeeze see Vegetable terrine with tomato sauce Grease 11.5cm x 23cm loaf dish (6 cup capacity). Sprinkle eggplant

This is an Ethiopian recipe for a very hot (key words here are hot, toasty,
spicy) sort of ste Aubergine with lentils - phad makhua sai thua khiew Cover the lentils with boiling water and leave for 2 hours. Drain, cover
with fresh water, add salt, bring to the boil and cook, covered for 1/2
hour. Drain.
Cut the aubergines lengthwise into 4 pieces and then cut these quarters
into 5-cm ( Masa soup (vegetable, lentil and pea soup) This is the good part. Sautee onions and garlic in water till starting to turn yellow, add all other ingredients in a large pot with 2 1/2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer an hour (or until peas are tender) and then puree in a blend Garden vegetable pita bread salad Beat olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and garlic in large bowl with wire whisk until well blended.
Add remaining ingredients just before serving. Toss lightly.
Bay scallop stew In heavy sauce pan saute shallots in butter, add wine; boil. Lower heat and simmer 2
min. Add scallops, simmer 5 min. Add milk, cream and chives. Stir
until hot. Do not boil. salt and white pepper. Serve. prep time 30 -
45 min.
Chicken stew with tomatoes and white beans Cook chopped bacon in heavy large pot over medium-high heat until crisp.
Using slotted spoon, transfer bacon to paper towel.
Sprinkle chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken in flour,
shaking off excess. Add to drippings in pot and saut until Vegetable soup Combine all ingredients in a large dutch oven or stock pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the vegetables are tender. Add water as necesary.
Options: Add pasta, rice or meat as desired.
Lentils brown rice & bacon Heat oil in large nonstick saucepan. Add pepper, onion and garlic; saute 5
minutes. Add lentils, rice, bacon, water and broth, simmer, covered,
stirring occasionally, 35 minutes until lentils and rice are tender. Remove
from heat. Stir in vineg Apache stew Roast the peppers, then peel, seed, and cut into long strips. Roast the
chilies, then peel, seed, devein and dice.
Heat the oil in a large stew pot over medium-high heat. When the oil is
almost smoking, add the venison and cook until the meat Brunswick stew using hogs heads The day before need: Boil hogs head and hens in separate containers. When
tender grind hogs head and remove bones from hens. In a 50 gallon pot brown

In Dutch oven or 4-5 qt saucepan, place potatoes, celery, carrots, onion,
garlic, stock, and seasonings. Bring to a Vegetable & herb curry Cook contents of box according to package directions. While rice is
cooking, saute vegetables until barely tender (3 to 5 minutes). Stir in
the apples, raisins and water. Cover and steam for a few minutes until the
