were published in the 7-13-94 issue of the Tyler Courier-Times. Both Pam

lettuce, and garnish with tomat wedges and celery leaves. Serve with French

2 Place lettuce leaves on 8 salad plates and arrange asparagus on
lettuce leaves, or asparagus may be placed in a vegetable bowl.

1. For the vinaigrette, mix lemon juice, zest, vinegar, and salt and pepper
to taste in a medium bowl. Whisk in olive oil and set aside.

3 min. until tender but still crisp. Remov Fried shrimp Heat oil to 365F. Mix the seasonings with the corn meal and flour. Dip
the shrimp in the buttermilk and then roll in the corn meal. Let stand on
a rack or waxed paper until oil is hot. Fry a few at a time in the hot
fat. Drain on paper towel.
Contrib Spicy marinated shrimp and garlic * Cloves of garlic should be parboiled and peeled. Gently heat the olive
oil in a wide, heavy skillet. Add all the remaining ingredients except the
shrimp and parsley. Cook very gently, stirring occasionally, for 15

Cook pasta according to package; drain.

Microwave on high for 3 minutes.
Mix the cornflour paste, sauces, salt, ginger, garlic together.
Add to the soup, mix well.
