Ingredients:
1/8 Cup(s) vegetable oil
1 Pound(s) stir-fry beef; cut into strips
1 Can(s) mandarin oranges; drained/reserve liquid
8 Tablespoon(s) soy sauce
1/2 Cup(s) honey
1 clove garlic; minced
1 1/2 Teaspoon(s) ground ginger
1 Tablespoon(s) cornstarch
Directions: In a large skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Brown beef, then add reserved mandarin orange liquid, the soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger; mix well. Reduce heat to medium, cover and cook 10-15 minutes, or until beef is tender, stirring occasionally. Remove 2 T of the liquid from the skillet and combine with the cornstar ch in a small bowl; whisk together well. Add the cornstarch mixture and oranges to the skillet, stirring until the sauce thickens. Serve immediately. Contributor: daily recipes
