Directions: Natto is fermented soybeans, a traditional Japanese staple for more than 1,000 years. It has a very powerful and pungent taste. It is widely known as the "tourist's and foreigner's most hated food" by the japanese. However, every vegan I've ever met loves this stuff!
Normally, natto comes in boxes that include mustard and bonito packages. If you are vegan you can't eat bonito because it is fish. Replace it with soy sauce.
1. To prepare natto, add the mustard and the soy sauce into the box. Stir with chopsticks for about 30 seconds.
2. Prepare rice as directed on package.
3. Serve rice in bowl. add natto on top.
4. Eat.
