Add sugar, vinegar, and wine to bacon fat; stir and cook until sugar is
dissolved. Pour this hot mixture over the cabbage. Toss with vegetable
oil, salt, pepper, and caraway see Brown rice seafood salad supreme In bowl, combine all ingredients except dressing and greens. Pour dressing
over all and toss to blend. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour, to blend
flavors. To serve, spoon onto crisp greens. Makes 4-6 servings.
Dressing
In medium bowl, c Hot mustard potato salad Cook potatoes in boiling salted water, covered, about 25 minutes or until
tender. Drain well. Peel and slice.
Cook bacon until crisp. Drain; reserving 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings
in the skillet. Crumble bacon; set aside.
Add onion to skille Tuna pasta bake Cook the pasta for 5 minutes in boiling water or until just tender. Drain and place in a large bowl. Mix in the sweetcorn, frozen peas, undiluted soup and 1 Tablespoon of the chives.

hours and add diced cucumber Feta, cucumber and radish salad Combine cucumber, radishes, mint (if using), and vinegar in a large mixing bowl. Gently toss in feta, season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.
Tuna shrimp delight 1. Place first 4 ingredients in a shallow, 1 1/2-quart, heat- resistant,
non-metallic casserole. Pour sherry over ingredients and mix gently.
2. Arrange asparagus spears over mixture and heat in Microwave Oven 8
minutes
or until mixture bubb Mexican chef's salad Bone and dice the chicken. Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a large
frying pan until it starts to smoke. Add the chicken cubes and fry over
medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until they are browned (2 or 3
minutes). To the chicken Miso salad dressing Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.

Wilted lettuce salad #2 Put lettuce and onions in salad bowl. Fry bacon crisp and cool on paper towel. Cool bacon grease slightly, add sugar, vinegar, water, salt, and mustard. Pour over lettuce and onion. Sprinkle bacon on top and serve immediately.
Serves: 6
Italian potato salad 1. Scrub potatoes; cut crosswise into 1/4 in. slices. Place in 1 1/2 qt.
microwave safe casserole. Add water and salt. Cover with lid. Microwave on
high for 9-10 min. or until potatoes are tender; stirring once. Drain and
cool.
2. Add onion "fruit salad" salad smoothie Combine everything in blender except ice and cinnamon. With blender
running, add ice cubes one at a time. Divide Smoothie into 4 chilled
glasses and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Baked shrimp-rice salad Combine first 7 ingredients in a mixing bowl; mix well. Combine next 3
ingredients; stir well. Pour over shrimp mixture; toss gently. Spoon into
a lighlty greased 1-quart shallow baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 20
minutes.
