Directions: 1. Heat oven to 350, grease baking sheet with crisco. Place sheets of foil on co
untertop for cooling cookies.
2. Combine Crisco, sugar and egg in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Beat in mincemeat.
3. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until blended. Stir in oats and nuts with spoon.
4. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheet.
5. Bake for 12 minutes, or until set and lightly browned around edges. Do not over bake. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove cookies to foil to cool completely.
