Ingredients: 2 Tablespoon(s) Olive oil 1 small Onion, very finely chopped 1 Garlic clove, crushed 1 Tablespoon(s) Tomato puree 1/4 Cup(s) Dry white wine 2 Cup(s) Cloves 8 Ounce(s) Button mushrooms, trimmed |
Directions: Heat the oil in a pan. Add the onion and garlic and cook until soft. Stir
in the tomato puree, wine, 1/4 cup water, cloves and saffron and season
with salt and pepper. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer gently for 45
minutes, adding more water if it becomes too dry.
Add the mushrooms to the pan, then cover and simmer for a further 5
minutes. Remove from the heat and, still covered, allow to cool. Serve
cold, sprinkled with chopped parsley.

COOKING AND SERVING: Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add the onions
and mushrooms and saute until softened, about 3 minutes. Add turkey,

large pan until lightly browned. Remove from pan and reserve. Add the
butter to the pan drippings. Add onions; saute until lightly browned.
Add mushrooms; cook until tender, stirring Beef & mushrooms Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in large skillet. Drain.
Add cream of mushroom, mushrooms, pepper, salt, parsley, and marjoram to skillet. Dissolve bouillon in water and add to skillet. Simmer 10 minutes.

drain well, and cool slightly. Peel and thinly slice potatoes; place in a
shallow bowl. Combine oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, and salt; mix
well. Pour over potatoes Crabby mushrooms In a bowl, mix crab meat, bread crumbs, onion s, cheese, salt,
parsley, and chopped mushroom stems. Add beaten egg and hot
