Directions: Heat oil. Ad garlic and stir over low heat for five minutes. Add tomatoes and herbs - simmer for 15 minutes. If too acidic, you can add a pinch of baking soda (if needed). Cook five more minutes. Add sugar to sweeten a bit if desired. Remove basil stem and serve.
