Maple Baked Apples



Ingredients:
6 large Baking apples
2 Tablespoon(s) Lemon juice
1/2 Cup(s) Raisins
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Cinnamon
1 Cup(s) Real maple or maple syrup
1/4 Cup(s) Water
Directions: Heat oven to 350F degrees. Core apples and remove a 1-inch strip of peel around top to prevent splitting. Brush tops and insides with lemon juice. Place apples in ungreased 8-inch square baking dish. In small bowl, combine raisins and cinnamon; fill center of each apple with mixture. Pour maple syrup over apples. Add 1/4 cup water to baking dish. Bake at 350F degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until apples are tender, occasionally spooning syrup mixture over apples.
