Directions: Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Lay flat on foil to cool. Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, s
tir together cheeses, egg, parsley, salt and pepper; spoon into cooled pasta tubes. Spread a thin layer of sauce on bottom of 9x13 in. baking dish; arrange filled pasta in single layer over sauce. Pour remaining sauce over pasta; cover with foil. Bake for 40 minutes. Remove foil, baking 15 minutes longer or until hot and bubbly.

Spaghetti Sauce
1 Teaspoon(s) Vegetable oil; 1 ts Salt; 2 Centiliter(s) Garlic; chopped 1/2 ts Oregano; 1 (s) medium Onion; chopped 1/2 ts Basil; 1 Can(s) Tomatoes; mashed or pureed 1/2 ts Thyme; 1 Cup(s) Water or beef broth; 1/4 ts Ground cloves; 1/4 Cup(s) Tomato paste; 1/4 ts Pepper; 1 Tablespoon(s) Dried parsley; |
Directions:
Heat oil in a heavy saucepan. Saute garlic and onion for three minutes or
until limp. Stir in tomatoes, water and tomato paste. Add parsley, salt,
oregano, thyme, basil, cloves and pepper; stir well. Bring to a boil,
reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for one hour, until sauce is
reduced by 1/4.
