Ingredients: 1 Recipe Basic Masa Dough 18 Corn husks or parchment 1 Cup(s) Bulgur wheat, uncooked 8 Tomatoes, sun dried, minced 1/4 Cup(s) Onion, dried 2 3/4 Cup(s) Boiling water 4 Tablespoon(s) Miso, brown rice 2 Tablespoon(s) Arrowroot powder |
Directions: To make filling:
a. In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine bulgur, tomatoes, pepper and
onion.
b. Add boiling water. Stir and cover with a dinner plate. Let sit for 15
minutes.
c. Add miso and arrowroot, stirring thoroughly.
d. Fill and cook tamales acording to "Tamales Basic Procedure". (See
recipe).

Roasted bell pepper halves stuffed with bulgur and spinach Preheat oven to 425F. Cut large red and yellow bell peppers in half
through stem end. Remove seeds and cut out ribs, leaving stems intact.
Finely chop small red bell pepper; set aside. Spread 1 tablespoon oil over
rimmed baking sheet. Place pepper halves, Filled potatoes 1.Clean and scrub new potatoes;if they are older peel them. 2.With a
knife or a special tool cut a whole in each potatoe.Boil them in
salted water until they are done, but not to soft.Test them
constantly. 3.Clean and chop mushrooms and carrots an Filled hamburgers Use one or more of these fillings in your hamburgers. Your choice.

Apple bulgur breakfast Mix the apple and bulgur in a bowl, then stir in the yogurt or formage frais and half the milk. Cover and set aside for 30 minutes, or until the bulgur is softened and swollen. The grain should stillhave some bite, although it can be left covered in the Lentil and bulgur cakes (vegetarian "kibbeh") Combine lentils, water and dash salt in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil over high heat, then simmer until lentils are tender, about 20 minutes. Add more hot water if needed. Stir in 1/2 cup butter and bulgur. Simmer 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and cover. Hot tamales Mix together beef, seasonings and cornmeal. Put onions tomato sauce
and water in blender. Add to rest of ingredients and mix well. Roll
about 1 tablespoon in palm of hand oblong and roll in corn meal. Wet
