together. Cover and let stand at room temp. until thickened, 8 hours
or overnight. Chill until ready to use. Char the Chili Peppers over a
gas flame until blackened on all sides. Wr Abilene texas chili Brown beef and drain fat. Add all ingredients and cover. Cook for 4 hours
or so on medium.
Hearty chili Saute onions in oil. Add ground beef and cook until brown. Add remaining
ingredients including liquid from kidney beans.
Simmer covered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. (You may need to add
more water during simmering.)

1. Combine flour, salt, peppers, and paprika in a medium bowl.
2. In another small bowl, whisk together egg and milk.
3. Slice each chicken breast into 6 pieces. Preheat 4-6 cups vegetable Dallas chili 1. Combine the beef with the ground chile, caribe, cayenne pepper, oregano,
garlic, bay leaves, gumbo file, cumin, woodruff(if used), paprika, and
salt.
2. Heat the bacon drippings in a large heavy pot over medium heat.

Layer tortillas with sauce, minced onion and 20-minute white bean chili In 3-quart saucepan, over medium-high heat, sauté‚ onions and garlic in oil
until tender. Add turkey; cook until done, stirring occasionally to break
up meat. Drain. Stir in tomatoes, chicken broth, mustard, chili powder and
pepper. Heat to a boil Dak cochu jang boekum (chicken in a hot chili sauce) 1. Cut the chicken into 3-inch pieces. Divide the wings. Mix the
parts with the sugar and marinate for 1 hour or more (the sugar is a

seconds on each side to soften; set aside. Pour off oil; brown meat

until onion begins to solfen, 3-5 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1-2 minutes
longer. Do not brown.
Add tomatoes, tomatillos and jalapeno, cook until tomatillos are soft. Ad Zesty chili Chop carrots, zucchini and onions in the food processor.
Heat 1/4 cup vegetable oil in a 6 quart pot. Add vegetables. Cook over
medium-high heat 15-20 minutes, stirring 3 or 4 times until almost
tender.

Scald, peel, core, and quarter the tomatoes. Squeeze out the seeds and

In a separate skillet, brown meat in 1 lb. or 1 1/2 lb. batches with

2. In a medium bowl, lightly beat eggs. Whisk in flour, margarine,
mustard, salt and pepper sauce. Stir in cottage cheese, Monterey Jack

bottom of a well buttered glass oven dish; place a layer of chilies. Dust

824- Meatless mission chili GARNISH: corn, chopped scallions, shredded Cheddar or Monterey jack cheese,
or a combination, optional.
In a Dutch oven or 4-5 qt saucepan, heat oil. Saute garlic, green pepper,
celery, onion, carrot, and zucchini until crisp/tender, about 3 minutes.
As m Indian chili Wash, scrub, and prick potatoes. Bake until done, 1 to 1-1/2 hrs in regular or 10-15 min. in microwave. Heat a couple Tbs. of the water in a saucepan, add the onions, and cook gently for 5 min., stirring frequently. Add the garlic, turmeric, cumin seeds, Chili ( black bean with toasted spice seasoning ) Drain beans. Place in a large pot & add 8 c water. Bring to a boil.
Add peppers, ginger, bay leaf & 1/2 c cilantro. Cover & simmer for 1
1/2 to 2 hours. Remove from heat & discard bay leaf.
Place cumin seeds in a pot & toas Sesame-chili marinade Combine all ingredients and mix well.

Chili cheese cubes Beat eggs 4 to 5 minutes until light. Add flour, baking powder, and salt.
Mix well. Fold in cheese and chilis. Pour into greased 9x13x2 baking pan.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Cut into 2" squares. Good hot or cold.
Buffalo chili onions Whisk together RedHot sauce, butter, chili sauce and chili powder in medium
bowl until blended; brush on onion slices.
Place onions on grid. Grill over medium-high coals 10 minutes or until
