Lime velvet salad Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add chunks of cream cheese. Using
mixer, beat at medium speed until well blended. Chill until slightly
congealed. Add pineapple, celery and nuts. Fold in whipped cream. Pour in
3 cup mold and let set. Turn out on lettuce Doris's fruit ice cream Mix Half and Half, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Cook slowly until mixture coats
spoon. Remove from heat and cool. Combine fruit, nuts, salt and lemon
juice. Let stand 10 minutes. Add to custard and pour in 1-gallon ice cream
freezer.
Hot tuna pasta salad In large bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, mustard, sugar, basil
and salt; stir in shells, tuna and vegetables. Serve hot. Refrigerate
leftovers.
Doodles olive salad Combine all ingredients; cover and chill. Store remaining salad in
refrigerator up to 1 week. Yield: 7 cups.
Maw-maw's jello salad Drain fruit. Mix Jell-o (dry) with Cool Whip. Then mix in juice. Fold in cottage cheese and well drained pineapple. Ready in 15 minutes. Any flavor Jell-o may be used.
Antipasto salad platter NOTE: Make Dressing First.... Make dressing in a jar with a tight fitting lid, combine oil, lemon juice, 1 teaspoon salt, black pepper, red pepper, garlic, and basil, shake until well combined. In a large saucepan, bring 4 inches of water to a boil.
Add carrots, beans and snap peas; cook for 4 minutes; Drain and rinse in cold water.
Place in a bowl; add zucchini, summer squash, onions, red pepper and olives.

Chive-mustard potato salad with sausage skewers Preheat grill or barbecue. Combine tomatoes, onion and lettuce in
shallow bowl. Add potatoes. Combine mustard, sour cream and chives,
and season to taste with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Bring sausages to boil in a pan of water. Drain immediately and Dole seafood pasta salad Drain tropical fruit salad; reserve 1/3 cup juice for dressing. Toss hot
pasta with sesame oil. when cool, mix with Fruity dressing. Add Tropical
Fruit Salad and remaining ingredients. Serves 8.
Shrimp & asparagus salad Cook green asparagus in boiling salted water until barely tender, about
1 minute. If purple asparagus is tender, don't cook at all. In mixing
bowl, combine asparagus, shrimp and bell pepper. In another bowl, mix
mayonnaise, parsley, Grilled vegetable salad Place first 6 ingredients cut sides up on baking sheet. Spritz with water.
Season with salt and pepper. Let vegetables stand approximately 1 1/2
hours.
Preheat barbecue (medium-high heat). Combine 3 garlic cloves with 1/4 cup

drop at a time, beating constantly, until about one-third of the oil have
been added. (Once the mixture begins to thicken, oil can be added several

pie plate until crumbly.
Microwave on high (100%) 1-1/2 minutes, stir with fork.
Microwave, stirring every minute, until dry and crumbly, 2 to 3 minutes

Mix remaining Baked potato salad 1. Put potatoes in a large saucepan with 1 inch cold water and 1 teaspoon
salt; bring to a boil.
2. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 25 minutes, until potatoes are tender;

Grilled potato salad with watercress, green onions and blue To impart smoky flavor to food when using an outdoor gas grill, add a
handful of wood chips (soaked in cold water 30 minutes and drained) to a
smoker box and place it under the grates and on top of ceramic briquettes
in the far right or left corner of the 24 hour salad Place lettuce on bottom of large dish. Place rest of ingredients in layers
as listed. Top with bacon bits and croutons. Cover; refrigerate for 24
hours.
Refrigerate for 24 hours.
