Lemon chicken with noodles Cook the noodles in a large pot of boiling water for 8 minutes, or until just tender. Drain and keep warm. Meanwhile place the chicken breasts between sheets of was paper and pound lightly with a mallet to an even thickness. In a small shallow container Green lentil soup with lemon Heat oil in pot & add lentils, stir briefly & add the onions & garlic. Cook
for 3 or 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the bay leaf & spices & stir
for 1 minute. Finally add the carrot. Pour in stock, raise heat & brin Chops with amber rice In skillet, brown pork chops on both sides. Season with salt & pepper.
Place uncooked rice in a 10x12" baking dish. Combine orange juice, water
and 1/2 tsp salt; pour over rice. Arrange browned pork chops on top. Spread
soup over all. Cover Pigeon peas & rice salad * A combination of garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, yellow mustard,
paprika, cumin and crushed bay leaf may be used in place of purchased
Caribbean spice blend.
Pick over and rinse peas well. In a saucepan over medium-high heat,
bring pe Irish loin of pork with lemon and herbs Pat pork dry. Score well with sharp knife. Combine parsley, onion, peel, basil, and garlic in a small bowl. Whisk in 2/3 of oil. Rub into pork. Wrap in foil and refrigerate overnight. Let pork stand at room temperature 1 hour before roasting. Preheat White rice pilaf with corn, roasted chiles, and fresh cheese In a large heavy saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the rice and the onion and stir frequently for about 7 minutes, until the onion is softened but not browned. Add the hot broth, salt, and chile strips to the pan and bring it back up to a boil. Cinnamon rice flan Beat eggs in large mixing bowl. Add rice, milk, condensed milk, and
vanilla; mix well. Pour into 8 greased individual custard cups. Combine
sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle on top.
Set cups in large baking pan; pour 1 inch hot water into pan. Bake at 350
Grilled lemon-herb marinated chicken Put chicken in a large bowl with remaining ingredients and salt to taste
and turn chickens to coat. Marinate chickens, covered and chilled, turning
occasionally, 1 day.
Prepare grill for cooking.
Discard marinade and season chickens with salt and pepper. Mushroom brunch rice Bring broth to a boil. Add other ingredients. Reduce heat and cover.
Simmer for 20-25 minutes. Remove bay leaf and serve.

vinegar in a small bowl and reserve. Place garlic and sesame oil in a
saucepan. Add scallions and mushrooms and saute until tender. Add brown
rice, radishes and remainin Crockpot chicken & rice Slice mushrooms. Remove skin from chicken. Spray 12" skillet with
nonstick spray coating. Brown mushrooms, onion, and chicken pieces on
all sides over medium heat about 15 minutes. Stir in seasonings and
transfer to crockpot. Can be refrigerated over Tofu & rice with vegetables 1. Saute Onion and Green Pepper in 1/4 C. Water for 10 Min.

Min. To Wilt Spinach.
4. Mix in 4 C. Cooked Pork chops and rice Brown floured and salted pork chops in oil. Add mushroom soup and 1/4c
water. Cover and cook 15 minutes. Line casserole with rice, cover with
chops and gravy. Bake 30 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees or until tender.
Duck with pine nut wild rice Prepare Apricot Basting Sauce and set aside. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Place duckling, breast side up, on rack in a shallow roasting pan. Brush with Apricot Basting Sauce. Insert meat thermometer so that the tip is in the thickest part of the inside thi Fried spicy rice Rinse the rice, removing any stones. Mix all ingredients together. Leave to marinade for at least half an hour.
Almond and rice dessert 1. Make almond milk: Place blanched almonds in a small bowl, and pour the
boiling water over them. Cover, and soak for at least 15 minutes. Put the
almonds with their soaking water in the container of an electric blender,
and finely puree. Strain Roast turkey with wild rice stuffing Prepare wild rice per directions on package, dissolving 3 teaspoons
bouillon in water before adding rice. Preheat oven to 325F degrees.
In medium skillet, cook celery and green pepper in butter until tender.

Grouse & wild rice 1) Combine the wild rice with 2 cups of broth and 1/4 cup butter in a saucepan, cover and cook `til tender. (keep warm)
2) Rince grouse filets and pat dry. Pound the filets between waxed paper with meat mallet `til tender, then combine with the eggs Cheesy chicken and rice bake Mix soup, water, rice, onion powder and black pepper in two 2-quart shallow baking dishes. This recipe was given to me by an old friend in Savannah, who told me that
it was a favorite breakfast bread on the plantations.

Bring milk to simmer in medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk 1/4 cup
