mixing other ingredients.
Mix by hand ground beef, rice, salt, pepper, garlic salt, chopped onion and
tomato sauce. Do this until thoroughly mixed. Then add egg and mix ag Grape and cabbage salad Combine grapes, cabbage, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and mayonnaise.

This is more typical of Pennsylvania Dutch cooking than anything else. The apples add a sweetness to the harsh taste of that old lifesaver, cabbage. This dish works well as an accompaniment to most meals.

Day Cabbage orzo & sausage soup 1. Brown sausage in oil in large nonstick saucepan over medium-high heat

minutes to soften. Gradually add German red cabbage Place all ingredients in crockpot in order listed. Cook for 2 hours

Hungarian stuffed cabbage Remove core from head of cabbage. Place in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil; boil until outer leaves loosen from heat. Lift out cabbage; remove softened leaves. Return to boiling water to soften more leaves. Repeat until all leave Cabbage melt / zapekanka Heat a small skillet over med. heat, add cabbage, add some salt, milk. Close the lid, saute over low till cabbage becomes tender. dish, I recommend sauteeing the cabbage

onions, separately. This method
brings out the flavor of each food.
Saute the cabbage in 1 tbsp of corn oil about 15 minutes. Set New mexico cabbage casserole Place cabbage in greased 7 x 11 casserole. Mix potato soup and
water. Pour over cabbage. Cover with grated cheese. Bake at 350 F
about 30 minutes. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake an additional
15 minutes.
Cabbage Heat red wine. Add onion and simmer till soft, about 5 minutes.
Add cabbage and cook on medium low for 5 minutes.
Add currants and caraway. Combine juice and vinegar and add to the cabbage
mixture.
Bake 375F for 45-60 minutes. Covered.

of boiling water. Boil gently 10 minutes, or until leaves begin to
soften. Drain cabbage; carefully remove large outer leaves (about
